Friends Cafe

Friends Cafe is new to the Clemson area. It offers a very unique environment, because not only is it a restaurant but also you can smoke hookah at the hookah bar at Friends. The atmosphere is even more unique because it has a "VIP" section with large plasma televisions, which are great for watching soccer games. It has friendly foreign owners who are always quick to help you pick the best item on the menu when you order at the counter. It has very large portion sizes, and is fairly quick even though they have to grill most items. Their menu is very diverse. They have the best chicken pot pie soup in the Clemson area; unfortunately it is not a regular menu item. Also, their hummus is very fresh and when it is served with their warm pita bread it greatly satisfies the tastebuds. Most items come with a side of chips, but you can easily substitute hummus for a side as well. It is defintely an up and coming restaurant in the Clemson area. They are still building their reputation, but they are off to a great start. There is hardly ever a long wait, so it is a great place to visit on football game weekends.
