Blue Heron Restaurant & Sushi Bar
Review
****
$10-$25
Blue Heron is the best restaurant for the price in the Clemson area. It has extraordinary food and a great atomsphere. The restaurant is very open with high ceilings. It is one of the nicer restaurants in the Clemson area but it has a casual, laidback feeling. The menu has a large variety of items including sushi, seafood, beef, chicken, pastas, pizzas, and sandwiches. The best thing about Blue Heron is that you can get a very ornate, fancy meal or you can get a fantastic cheeseburger. The servers are polite and helpful especially when it comes to the specials and the wine selection. The only problem we could find it that is does take a little bit longer to get your food when you order sushi. However, the sushi especially the Dynamite roll was very fresh. Other favorite items among the entire table were the three different butters brought with the bread. Staple items include the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, the eight dollar blue cheeseburger, and the salmon over cheese grits. Blue Heron is not only a restaurant that is worth a special journey, but also it is in our opnion worth a monthly visit if you live in the area.

Comments
Andrea Cooper, Clemson guest speaker, said that she especially enjoyed the Blackened Atlantic Salmon because "we don't have the luxury of getting these Southern cheese grits in Colorado."
